Privacy Policy
signyourpdf.app is operated by Elowin Labs LLC ("we", "us"). This policy explains what happens to your information when you use the site.
Your documents and signatures
The PDFs you open, the text you type into them and the signatures you draw, type or upload are processed inside your browser on your own device. They are not uploaded to us, and we do not store them. When you close the tab or the file, they are gone from the page.
The signed PDF is saved straight from your browser to your device when you press Download.
Browser extension
The signyourpdf browser extension opens the same tool in a tab of its own. When you click its toolbar button on a PDF, or choose Fill and sign this PDF on a link, it reads that one file so the tool can open it. It asks before reading files from any other site, and you can take that access back in your browser's extension settings. The file is held only until the tool opens it, then removed. The extension sends nothing to us, sets no cookies and runs no analytics.
Analytics
We use Plausible Analytics and Google Analytics to count visits and a few tool events (for example that a file was opened or a signed file was downloaded, and the reason when a file fails to open), with the page, referring site, country, device and browser type. Plausible is cookieless and keeps no personal data. Google Analytics sets the cookies described in the Cookie Policy, with Google signals and ad personalization turned off. No file names, file contents or signatures are ever sent. Turn Analytics off in the cookie preferences and neither tool counts your visits.
Cookies
The site sets one small cookie, with a matching entry in your browser's local storage, to remember the choice you make in the cookie notice, plus the Google Analytics cookies while Analytics is on. Your privacy choices in the footer of every page reopens your preferences. See the Cookie Policy.
Hosting and security
Like any website, the servers that deliver these pages receive standard request information (such as your IP address and browser) to send you the page and protect the site from abuse. It is kept only briefly for that purpose.
Children
The site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Your rights and contact
Because we do not keep your documents or an account for you, there is usually nothing of yours to access or delete. For any privacy question, write to hello@elowinlabs.com.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it.
