Can ChatGPT sign a PDF?
Not by itself. ChatGPT can read a PDF, explain it and draft what to write, but it cannot put your own handwritten signature on the file. To sign it, open the PDF in a signing tool, add your signature and download the copy.
What ChatGPT can do with a PDF
You can upload a PDF to ChatGPT and ask it to summarize the document, explain a clause, point out where the signature and date go, or draft the text for the blanks.
In some setups it can send you on to a connected signing app. That route usually means an account with that app and sending the document through it.
What it cannot do
A signature is your mark, made by you. ChatGPT cannot draw it for you, and a signature typed by an assistant is not you signing. It also cannot see your screen to place a signature exactly where the line is.
How to sign the PDF yourself
Open the PDF on the home page of this site. Choose Signature, draw it or type it, drag it onto the line and download the signed file. Add a date and your printed name the same way. There is no account and no watermark.
